My video audition for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) search for the host of "Your OWN Show" is posted on MeetingLifesChallenges.com and on Oprah.com. Now, all I need is your vote!!! Lots and lots and lots of votes!!!

I figure I'll need close to a million votes to advance to one of the 5 "finalist slots." Yes, I'm a longshot, especially when the deadline is approaching quickly. Votes must be in by July 3rd, at 11:59PM.

I am no stranger to putting up a good fight and I'm not giving up on my efforts to get a program on OWN that supports, educates, and brings HOPES and DREAMS back into the lives of people living with chronic illness and disability.

In the event that I don't have the most votes or advance to the next stage of the competition, I'm confident that the producers will see my video and will read what people write in the comment section. I am also confident that those same producers will have an "AHA moments." And, they will finally understand what an underserved population we are and how Oprah and her new network can be a beacon of light in the darkness.
