I got out one of my SAD (seasonal affective disorder) lights the other day because I’ve been feeling down and have no energy ever since the kids left. I used the lights last winter to help me out of the “blahs.” The lights provide full spectrum lighting, like sunshine, and can be helpful if you live where there's reduced sunlight or temperatures keep you from going out. I put the light in my bathroom so I get a little dose of “sunshine” while I’m getting ready for my day.  I think the lights are helping because I felt more energetic today.

Re: Here comes the sun!

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Gray skies and cold weather do that. May the return of longer days soon make artificial sunlight unnecessary.
