Not much going on here. It's in the single digits today with a few more inches of snow possible.  The "girls" are coming for Mah Jongg this afternoon.  We play every Wednesday afternoon.  Whenever I play, the game is always at my house. (I started this tradition maybe 20 years ago when I was becoming isolated and feeling lonely.)

I love the people and our time together.  It's not about the game or winning or losing.  It's about the relationships, the camaraderie, and the new, shared memories we have of our time together. In fact, we started keeping a scrapbook of funny pictures and anecdotes of our time together.

It maybe cold outside, but my house will soon be filled with the warmth of good friends laughing and enjoying an afternoon together.

Sometimes we even have a little visitor.
